When not using your classic, just pull the clutch lever in, pop the clamp on and let it sit. Simply remove it before your next ride.
This prevents the common problem of your clutch plates sticking together when your bike isn't in use and can save you hours of work by stripping and cleaning the clutch plates.
Please note, this will not rectify problems caused by an incorrectly adjusted clutch.
